Feel Super Creative Today

So earlier this year I posted the image below
and stated that THE INFAMOUS SPACE MUMMY series would start Summer 2015. Well my summer is almost over and the series has not started -- or has it?

While not finalized art has been produced this series has grown quite a bitfrom the simple little series I originally intended to do. 2 stories are written at this point anda sketchbook is getting filled up with drawings. Then something hit me.

I have always wanted to make my own bootleg toys for my comic series. And THE INFAMOUSE SPACE MUMMY would be perfect for this. However I do not have the ability at this point to make the toys, but I have been studying watching YouTube videos and getting ideas.

Then the bug hit me. I should make a toy card for
THE INFAMOUS SPACE MUMMY
Not bad for a quick rough. So while you will not be seeingthis series this year, you will eventually and it will be well worth the wait.

The LA Trip

My Los Angeles trip was a success.

I got to climb in the belly of this beast on my way
to  LA. I found out it was filled by a gift shop.

I saw this creature at the Ripley's Believe It or Not
Museum. It kinda reminded me of a creature that
would be draw by my pal Daniel Davis.

I also dropped off about 75 copies of the Fake Japanese
Cousin Harold mini-comics around town. This picture
was taken at Neo Happyland in Chinatown.
Books were also dropped off at Q Pop Shop in
Little Tokyo and the Comics Factory in Pasadena.

Next up the Trip to the San Diego Comic Con
in about 2 weeks. I hope to take more pictures.

A New GET THAT CHICKEN Story

This story was created for Tosh Delaney's Strips mini-comic anthology. I also printed up about 50 B&W mini-comic copies, that I have been giving out at my in store appearances. The goal was to make the story misprinted looking. Enjoy!

take care,

-denny!
